Hey, lookin at getting a wakeskate as we all enjoy surfing, but lack an inboard boat. Looking to learn riding barefoot, and need something that wont catch an edge easilly like wakeboards can. Mostly will just be cruisin doin 180's, slides n stuff. Just lookin for somethin mellow, but fun. So much to choose from, any thoughts?

Hey im thinkin about the Gator Boards Imapalla. It's a 41" composite deck, and was wondering if my friend who's 6 foot 185 lbs could cruise on it? Would I need to worry about it being able to support his weight?

from what i know, i dont think that it would work so well for him. i think that he is too heavy. i dont know much about wakeskates but thats just what i say from what ive heard. i just got a Gator Boards Drew 2007 41" and im 5' 9" and 140 pounds.

Your friend will be fine with the Impalla. No problem at all. I'm shorter and weigh the same and have no problem with an even shorter board.
