Has anyone tried these on or gotten to see them in person? When can you purchase them? I think the white ones look really nice!

Tried them on but the ones I tried on were 10s and I wear an 11. Definitely a step up from their previous years Murray boot. Also VERY light.

Rode some today. They are super nice, comfy and stiff. Make sure you try some on before buying to make sure you get the right size. I wear a size 10 shoe and I was wearing 8's in the new Murray boot comfortably. Highly recommend them.

It's on the sides. There is a thin plastic piece you can add/remove. It's kinda slick.

are they built more like the normal closed toe where it is actually closed toe not just a material overlay where the open toe is usualy?? is the foot bed etc still the same as 07?

It is completely different than the previous models with no material type overlays. It is actually more like a snowboard boot than a traditional wakeboard binding. Super nice, check them out at a shop near you in the near future.

They are far lighter than any of the previous models. I would send you some pix, but Shaun took his board home today and won't be at camp tomorrow. Maybe he will chime in sometime next week. You will like them for sure.

the real question is whether or not they will stay together. We went through 3 pairs of 06/07's in one summer, with riding what wasn't out of the ordinary.

Garret how did you break them? did the toe blow out? I think the 08's look alot stronger and the toe isnt just an overlay which will be good

Chris: two of the pairs ripped down the interior to the baseplate. The other pair had a snapped boa. My friend's boa also snapped. The stupid thing was that they included a replacement wire, but unless you unglue and reglue the binding together, you can't replace the line anyway. But, they were the most comfortable binding I had ever been in, until I got my Ronix Ones. The ones feel similar, but are a lot better with pressure points (imo)
