2003 LF Balance comparison to 2001 Finless Helix

So I am looking into buying a balance, 2003 140 from last year with some ultra sucs, I already know I like the feel of the bindings. However, I haven't ridden the balance before, my current board, i like, but is falling apart, I liek a generally loose feeling on my board and for big pop , soft landings, and decent swing weight.

if anyone has any thoughts, jot 'em down.

The rocker line on the Balance is different from that of the Helix line. It pops totally different. You may like it you may not. I didn't like the way the Balance popped, that's what I went with the Substance...without the center fin it's loose enough, pops huge. check it out.

I liked the loose feel of the helix. The balance gave me a hard time edging
