Demented, Absolute, or Transcend??

I am looking for a bigger/a little bit faster board than I am riding now, which is a 136 Belmont. I want good pop and a soft landing. What do you guys suggest???

The Absolute and Transcend laugh at speed.. Actually Absolute isn't that bad, but the Transcend is slow as poo (that's slow). On the other hand, the Transcend will pop you harder and more consistant than any other deck out there...period.
If it's speed you want, Demented.
If it's crazy pop and buttery landings... Transcend.

The Transcend rides very slow. It also pops different.I have always thought the Absolute to be a fast board. It has great pop and smooth landings. If you haven't already, check out what Zane and Andrew have to say about their boards at www.cwbwakeboards.com. Download the little video that goes along with each board.I cannot speak for the demented.

Since the transcend has no center fins and the absolute does, how would that make them different? Also dont you guys think the transcend will be faster than my belmont??

The Transcend has over three inches of rocker, so no it won't be faster than your Belmont. The only way the Absolute would be considered fast is if it were ridden with the center fin, however many prefer to ride it finless(just the molded fins). I guarantee the Absolute & Transcend will have a softer landing than the Demented, probably bigger pop too, if you don't edge like Shapiro. I'd say go with the Absolute.

Oh dear heavens no. The Belmont is the fastest board that HO makes. The Transcend is the slowest board that CWB makes.

The thing I love about mine is when riding straight/flat, you can slide it around like there's no fins at all. With that much rocker, the fins are almost out of the water. When you do get on edge, the fins/cupped rail bite and it tracks hard and straight.
I rode the 05 Absolute last Fall when I was demo'ing. The Transend rides very nose high due to the rocker and very slow, the Absolute rides a bit flatter, a bit faster, and reacts edge to edge quicker. The Transcend does everything in slow motion until you hit the wake.
This is all my opinion of course.. the next guy could say the Transcend is the fastest board he's been on. I recommend to everyone to demo the Transcend. It is fun as hell.
