Number 11 out of 100. It is so freaking sick. I love it. The only thing is that it doesn't look like the sharpie has a coating over or anything so what could I do to protect it because I am going to be riding it a lot. Thanks.

You could use some 3m paint protection film avail.at autoparts stores. It should work great if your never going to take it off,but if you do,cleaning off the residue will make the sharpie disappear also. Or you could just get your own sharpie and keep it touched up

Yea dude I am in Maryland right now so I won't be able to ride it unless I go to Florida for Winter Break which will be in a while but I will let you know.

I will also check out the paint protection thing thanks Mike.

I got a couple of pics but I have no clue how to get them to the right dimensions without cropping the crap out of it.

Nick

the pics, you can send 'em my way (and i'll post em) and/or you can go to the microsoft website and get the picture resizer tool. it is honestly THE BEST thing for resizing. right click, resize, DONE! takes only 5 seconds and best yet, you can do multip[le pics at one time and it saves the new sizes seperately and never changes the originals!

P.S. #11 ehh? my favorite number!

looks like you have even updated your profile with the new board. ;)

So did you buy it directly from Company or go through a shop?
Old     (homedawg678)      Join Date: Jan 2007       12-08-2008, 5:58 PM Reply
I bought it through wakenskate.com since someone told me that they had them.

Chris its both the top and bottom graphics that are limited and Tyler you might want to email them because I am not sure how many are left. They only made 100 so there aren't too many floating around.

Slingshot's new site was launched today... maybe you got the two confused?
Old     (tsteeb)      Join Date: Aug 2006       12-08-2008, 9:04 PM Reply
im not worried about getting a super limited, just the shape, its the same as the severance right. Im just wondering about the riding charecteristics of the deck is all.

i rode one a couple months ago. solid board. no big surprises. the board won't change your life, unless you still haven't ridden a slingshot, then it might. two of us thought it was easier to control presses on this board than a ss, one thought it was a tougher. it's a little stiffer, especially through the middle, than my 08 recoil. seemed like it liked to go out into the flats (probably because the recoil i was riding has more rocker). i would have more to say but the wake wasn't huge that day so i can't really make a fair comparison to what i'm used to. i hope i can get some more time on one this spring.

bottom line: if you're a decent rider, wakeboarding is more fun on a board that has this kind of build. find one that has the flex, speed, and rocker type/size that fits you. put a size of fin on it you like, and shred it.

Also, before people make final judgements betwen company and slingshot or SS to Co. they need to get on the '09 slingshot. the rails as well as other things changed on the '09 SS gear and are more similar to Co.... or Co. more similar to SS.
-------------------------------------------------

speaking of changes for 09... does Co. also have that new PVC based sidewall stuff that SS has ("HDLW (High Density Light Weight) PVC rails and tips - Extremely impact resistant and tunable.") or is it ABS like slingshot was before? I just learned that SS changed the ABS to a more lighter and flexier (but still tuneable and durable) sidewall from lookin' at their new site.
