Would really like to try wakesurfing this summer, we're getting a 23 lsv and I was wondering if anyone has any experience surfing behind these boats and could throw some tips my way in regards to speed, weight, which side of the boat to surf on, and aboard that would match that wake style. Thanx guys, any help would be awesome.

Here's a pic of our's
2 580lb sacks in starboard side rear storage.
Front, center and starboard factory ballast full.
Port empty.
Wedge up.
3 passengers and 1 driver on starboard seats.
9-9.5 mph on cruise control.
We've tested the port side with similar set up, seems to be about the same. You'll need to decide which side you ride based upon which foot forward you ride, and whether or not you'll ride heel or toe side. Lastly, of course we recommend XBC boards!

Gary- have you looked into changing the prop and turning the linkage. Our crew is mostly goofy so my sister has been thinking of doing it to her XLV. We got her starboard wake that looks similar but the regular side is still about a foot taller and quite a bit steeper.

Sean,

I've done it on a Sanger V215. I've asked around about the Malibu, but so far nobody has an answer for me. If you hear or know if it is possible on the Malibu, let me know. Some of the transmissions have different forward gears compared to the reverse gear, I know the Sanger did, so it had to be a reverse transmission.

Gary
