The UFC has been kind of stale for a while. But this weekend could change that as GSP fights for the first time in a year and half. I know some people will say his style is boring but I find him fun to watch. Also if he wins this fight there are rumors Anderson Silva will enter the octagon to challenge him next. Also don't under estimate Condit here, I think he is a bad ass. I just don't think he can stay off his back.

I don't think Silva will go down. If anything he will go up to 205. If GSP went up to 185, maybe. But Silva already mentioned the amount of work it takes to get down to 185.

The word is a catch weight fight at 180 or 178.

Anderson has said multiple times he is not going up - he has team mates at 205 that can compete there. Lyoto Machida and Rafael Corderio.

Anderson fought at 170 in Pride and KOTC. He has offered St. Pierre the fight at a catch weight of 175..

Love GSP IMO he is the most well rounded fighter in the UFC. That being said I don't think he is the best fighter in the UFC. The thing that makes GSP great is the way he fights. He thinks before he does anything. If he fights a knock out artist he takes them down, if he fights a ground guy he stands he is the most calculating fighter I have ever seen. GSP's only weakness is his glass jaw. The only way he will get beat is if he gets tagged. Or of course if he fights Anderson Silva

Did not watch the fights last night but heard GSP had his hardest fight to date. Anyone watch it? i know GSP won by unanimous decision but evidently there were a few scary moments for him. On a side note Johnny Hendricks knocked out Martin Kampman to be next in line to face GSP. For those of you who don;t know much about Hendricks, he has quietly been moving up the ranks with littler if any reporting on him. He is one of the best wrestlers in the division but has incredible knock out power as we have seen multiple times. I think in the welter weight division Hendricks could finally be the spoiler of GSP's reign as King. I also think Chris Weideman could be that guy in the 185 Lb class. It's going to be interesting to say the least in 2013.

^GSP took a shin to his right temple in the third that was nasty, and ended up getting some decent cuts under each eye and bridge of the nose. Great fight!

The GSP fight was great even though I was hoping to see Condit come out on top. GSP gave Condit fits on the ground, but at the same time I felt Condit did a good job fitting from his back. That left kick to GSP's head was the money shot, but Condit couldn't finish and somehow GSP regained his composure. GSP is the man and it will be interesting to see how the whole GSP vs Silva deal all works out.

On another note, Johnny Hendricks is a beast!!! He caught Kampman on the chin within the first minute with a straight left and it was lights out. Kampman looked like a tree hitting the ground and his head did a little bounce off the mat and nearly took another shot on the chin when his head popped up off the mat.

Overall, all the fights were worth watching, but I would really like to see another fight between GSP and Condit. Hopefully Condit gets another shot, but he needs to work on his takedown defense if he as any chance of beating GSP.

GSP has a take down rating of like 75% or something. Hard to defend that. GSP is one of those guys that is VERY hard to get out from underneath. He is not a super great striker. Silva is a lot better on his feet and has a wicked take down defense. But he is very good at protecting himself while on his back and waiting for a submission. Silva beats GSP. I would much rather watch Silva and Jones go at it.

At this point I'd take anyone of the super fights. Jones V Silva or Silva V GSP, I think the former makes more sense than the later seeing as 185 is a push for Silva and he's already taken plenty of fights at 205.

The GSP fight was the best of his I can recall. He was very acitve the entire time and got popped but survived it and actually won the round! Condit proved that he is one tough SOB and definitly earned a rematch but not until after Hendricks get his shot. Dudes a beast!

GSP looked great. Had great ground and pound, much better then when he just lays on the dude. He busted up Conit's face pretty good. I also was happy to see him take that kick and recover. GSP might not have knock out power that some of you want to see but this was an exciting fight. He was active and going for it the whole time. I love Condit and I would say that he is the second best welterweight in the world. If GSP fights Silva I would like to see a Condit vs Hendricks. I hope GSP does fight silva because as good as Hendricks has looked, he is not touching GSP.

My vote is no to GSP v Silva = proves nothing in my mind.

Due to Condit's great showing it should be Condit v Hendricks for the next GSP fight.

I would guess that Silva is scared of Jones like everyone else. The only reason Jones is fighting dbag Sonnen is because no one else wants to fight Jones (those words are from Dana). Hell if I was Silva I would much rather be a big guy fighting GSP than a small guy fighting Jones.

Yeah if Silva fights GSP I see Silva taking that fight fairly easily. Don;t get me wrong GSP is the man but Silva is insane. On the other hand if Silva fights Jones Silva will be the smaller man so it's a risky decision to go up and fight Jones who really could be fighting at heavy weight. Jones walks around at around 230 at 6"4 Fedor fought all his fights at 230 and Couture fought at heavy weight at 222. Vera also fought heavy weight at 220 and the raining champ Dos Santos usually comes in around 239. I think the better fight would be Dos Santos vs Jones. Heck Jones could easily put on 5-10 lbs of muscle in the next 6 months and come in at 230-35 which is right around the same weight as Jr. I would love to see that fight. Who knows maybe Cane will beat Jr. and he could fight Jones. If the Jones Silva fight did happen, i have always said this, i believe if it stayed on the feet Silva would knock Jones out. If Jones takes Silva down it would be ground and pound by vicious elbows. All of these fights would be interesting to watch.
