This year I bought a O'neill Checkmate Vest that I love except for the fact that I have only rode with it a handful of times since I bought it new and it ripped in the armpit once, small though and I sewed it back up myself. Then after a mild fall this weekend it blew out almost all the way down the side,I slipped out nothing major at all.. Does anyone know if this is a common problem or had this issue with the same vest before? Is this something warranty will cover?

It should be covered under warranty. O'Neill is awesome with their warranty. You will have to work with your shop that you bought it from. They will send it back to O'Neill and then O'neill will either fix it or replace it. I would just recommend doing it once your season is over. It takes a couple of weeks for it to get processed. If you cant get a hold the shop you bought it from shoot me an email and I can help you out.
