I'm looking to purchase a MC X1. I went to a dealer and they had a 2006 that they offered me a deal on. I'm trying to figure out if they are offering me a good deal.

2006 New X1 with:
-standard engine
-single axle trailer
-tower cover
-cd player
-stereo remote
-tower mirror attachment
-kgb center bag
-master view drivers seat

$38,800 plus tax and $800 freight
$41,928 out the door

Is that a good price?? Any suggestions on extra options I would want that could still be added to an 2006? Any advice is appreciated as I'm looking to make a decision in the next couple of days.

Thanks!

Standard engine is 315 hp. From what I have seen that looks to be a good price. The boat will do a solid 45mph and throws a great wake. The center ballast is a must to help in rough conditions. Does it come with any tower speakers, sub, amp???? Have them throw that in and tell it is a done deal!

not to be rude but it is a 310 engine. give them thirty eight or do like coach said and get some stereo thrown in and it is a good deal.

It doesn't come with tower speakers, sub or amp... I will ask about those. I'm not sure how much they typically discount boats if they are new but last years models? I may only keep it for 2-3yrs and want to make sure I don't get killed on the resale.

that is a good deal... but since the boat is already a year old, have them through in at least 2 tower speakers, sub and amp, and bimini top (unless that is already included)

Let them make some money on it.. they will be giving you good customer service after the sale right?

Good deal and great wake. I too though would at least ask for some speakers. If they say no, still get it. Good luck

Look into the swiveling & clamping board racks. They're expensive, but much nicer than the standard racks....Sounds like a good deal....

If you are happy with the boat and the price you paid for it, that's all that really matters! There will probably always be people who got better and worse deals...

Congrats on the boat and get some pictures posted!

Ask what the adder is for Perfect Pass Pro. It's not tough to add yourself as an aftermarket addition so compare costs both ways.

Spare tire for the trailer. If you're going to tow any distance at all this is very important, especially with a single axle. I added mine after the fact and had to go with a bolt on spare tire mount. It's much nicer to get the welded on version right from the mfg.

2006 New X1 with: $39995
-standard engine INC 310 HP RTP
-single axle trailer INC
-tower cover $800
-cd player $450
-stereo remote $200 Approx
-tower mirror attachment $340
-kgb center bag $950
-master view drivers seat If is is the upgrade approx $80
-stereo (clarion NOT A STANDARD OPTION) $1500

+ FREIGHT AND PREP

SOUNDS LIKE AN AWESOME DEAL/ Normally a set of MC tower speakers installed w/ an amp $1800-$2000

In 2007 MC has gone to the 14.0 X 14.25 Prop. $444 MSRP on the prop. Maybe that could be your negiotation point. THat is a good upgrade if you are running alot of ballast

Enjoy
