I came across a 2003 Liquid Force DLX 34 board with O'brien Link bindings and a tow rope all for $280 after shipping. Both the board and the bindings seemed to get good reviews on here. I am a beginner, but want something that will last me for when i get good too. Is this a good setup, and is the price good? Thanks for the help!

buy the liquid force DLX seperate for like 170$ I think it is. Then buy some CD bindings for $70. That would be an awesome set up and 40$ cheaper. The link bindings arent that great. The cd's are.

the cds sound good, but i dont know where you see them for $70, sounds like a dream come true! i just searched on ebay and the buy it now prices range from $179.99 to $199.99, and the starting bid is right around there too.

so unless you know where i can get them for $70, do u have another suggestion or is the deal that i found good even with the links (the links are still good right)? they got decent reviews on here so i figured they were pretty good.

thanks for the help!

BTW- i can get the DLX for $165 shipped individually, so if theres a good boot besides the links then let me know (assuming the price is about the same) and ill get them each separately. its just if the links are good, i save on shipping getting it as a package, and i also get a free rope.

i agree theres not many places that sell any new bindings for 70 dollars..im not familiar with any of your choices but havent heard anything real negative on any of them..either way 280 for all that if they are new is a great deal any way you lay it out so go for it man and have fun...

Actually there was a guy on ebay who sold CD bindings (PS01's and those wraps) for 99 and 79 dollars. You could possible buy them even cheaper if he set the starting bid at 1$. I went to look and he isn't selling them anymore, must have sold out. Keep looking.

too late, i just bought some liquid force ultra suctions, but from what people say on the reviews here, i think i will be happy with them apart from getting in and out. $128 shipped, so good deal too (they're 2002, but still they all are based on the same design). now i just gotta find a board to go with it, any suggestions? preferably under $200.
