I have a new hyperlite tfd, and the bottom of it has tiki oil from the swim platform on it, and i was wondering if anyone new how to get it off without messin up my board.

well..... let me ask is it greasy or sticky? i asked my dad and he said posibly rubbing achahol butt... i dont no what it would do to your board..... wd 40?... i really dont no, i wish i knew for sure so i could help you, mabey go to hyperltie.com and find the shop phone number and ask some one who might no what whoud harm your board and what wouldnt!

ahh that sucks man, how did you get the teak oil on your board but not letting it dry on the platform? Did you try out your wakeboard after and was it slippery? hopefully it will wear off after use.

i dont know, the first time i took it out it wasnt on there, and right when i got on the boat, my board was all brown.

Just pour some rubbing alcohol on it & scrub away. Alcohol won't hurt the board, just wash it off thoroughly afterwards. Tell the old man to go easy on the TEAK oil. Unless you have tiki torches coming off your swim step...hmm I have an idea for a night wakesurf.
