I'm seeing that gradually people are getting the new rev 8's installed on thier boats and I think we're all waiting to hear opinions on what everyone thinks of them. Are they as loud as we hope, are the good for near field and long distance, do you wish you waited for the rev 10's? Also what wattage are pushing them and what else is in the boat and on on the tower? Thanks we will all appreciate it!

Love them!
They are plenty loud. Ask the lady down the street from me she threatend to call the cops while I was trying to tune them in.
Near field is VERY nice and much improved...IMPO
Rev 10 I am sure will be great ..but the 8 was plenty for me and I dont want anything that would hang lower.
230rms/speaker. They are the only speaker on my tower. I have 3 sets xs-650's and a fa10.
I have 3 clarion apx480m.......Wetsounds amp from santa is my goal! unless Tim wants to play santa in June...June 14 is my birthday FYI.
