great starting board, and allows you to land many basic inverts too.

I think that is relative, if you know to correctly cut your edge into the wake you'll get good pop with almost any board. The kind of wake you ride with important too.
If your a beginner you'll enjoy a lot this board and will get better pop while learning (cuase it rides easier) than with any advanced board.
