Yeah, Scott-- my thoughts exactly. Then again, nick, you probably missed the post from a few days ago where someone took a picture of the boat you're asking about-- http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/3183/178195.html?1089667781

Rubber-band paddleboat - 2 lbs ballast, industrial strength rubber-band, great hole shot, ultra quiet engine, what more could you ask for!

Super air nautique team edition. Steeper wake than the x-star so if you got bals you can fly high more than the x-star. And the cost in gaz for the X-Star dont worth it. Take the SANTE with the ZR6 motor.

My opinion is the malibu wakesetter, with the wedge and built in ballast you can get a sweeet wake

If you're going to go with a SAN, buy one that's a few years old. They haven't changed for years.

I LOVE my Sanger V215. With a couple of sacs and the factory ballasts, the wake is great.

aircraft carriers put out some of the biggest wakes out there. definately go for that. The hole shot might be slow, but the 5ft wake will make up for that.

yea, royal carribean seamed like a good idea...but they dont have the square front like an x-star does. Aircraft carriers have that square front which gives it that huge wake. plus they ballast it down with a 100 multi ton jets.
