In the movie Boombox, during Brian Grubb's part what kind of boat is the one with the orange tower and what year? Thanks

I think it's a Malibu. I had to stare at it for a while, but the netted storage in the walkthrough, and the sliding wind break resembles that of my 2000 LSV. I'm still not a hundred percent on that.

Was grubb sponsored by Malibu back then?

It's definitely a Malibu, but I think Grubb and Sharpe both had VLX's back then. Grubb had the orange boat with the orange Skylon tower and Sharpe had the yellow boat with the Titan tower back in the day. For the year, just look at the year the movie was released and the boat is probably the model year earlier.

Rhett, top three because their Malibus run and aren't in the shop all season. Thank goodness for your Nauti.

Just to chime in, I think that boat was from 2002. Boombox IS sick!! that and running with scissors are two really sick flicks that I still watch on a somewhat regulard basis, even though I'm more interested in wakeskating. I'll always love justin's work because he truly brought something new to the table, so those two films will forever remain classics in my book.
