love your aussie. My wife and I have been wanting one for a long time, and will probably be getting one in the summer. Anything special I need to know? Or any tips for that breed? Thanks.

Sorry Miguel I some how missed keeping up with this post.

I have had Ausies all my life they are great companions and guard dogs. I have not had one yet that I did not like. Make sure they are pure bread and check out the parents temperment. The males are a little more protective but seam to have an attitude and kind of snappy around kids pulling at them. The females are very sweet and mild tempered.

I found blue (my little girl) at the lake back in 03. everyone loves her. My mom just got one from a breader here in Az. They both are very smart.

Also it is natural for them to have one blue eye if they are pure bread.

Sinko good luck with the husky they can be a handful. We had one and she was very smart and tested us her entire life.

We also had a hard time keeping her in the boat she would jump out and swim to you just when you were geting ready to ride.

She loved to ride in the tube though.

Bryan (westsiderippa),

Great pics man! Bring back great memories of when my rott was a puppy. Here is Zoe, just turned 2. She comes on the boat once and awhile but she is big and tends to get a little concerned when someone is riding behind the boat. So the majority of the time we just leave her on dry land.

Here's my mother & son team, Kenna Lou & Big Guy:

<img>

Kenna has been out on the water with me, though she didn't react too well when it came for my turn to ride... Big Guy will get his chance this season and hopefully be a bit more mellow when I leave the boat.

By the way, Kenna is full-blooded Jack Russell, while Big Guy is half Beagle... Here's a few more vanity shots of the little ham:

Edit: Hmm, can't get the file to display straight from photobucket, and the files are too big to upload directly...

He just loves the boat but not sure he would qualify as a third person even though he has to sit on the seats like one.

I think the kitten doesn't understand the difference between her mom and a dog.
