Snidal and the boys just keep out doing themselves. If you get the chance head out to the Toronto Boat Show...you will be impressed with the set up and the riding. Top pros and top local talent putting on a great show!

This setup was awesome!! Everyone was stoked! some big names brought up by the Manufacturers.. Rusty, Tino, JD Webb, etc.. Water was a fridged 43 degrees as it was pumped from lake ontario only 1 before the event. here are some pics. Place was packed!! Full of the non-wakeboard crowd which will help the sport grow! Stands full of families! Sat, Sun get 2 shows... 30mins and 1 hour.. Sunday 1 hour show is for best trick with Cash money.. Week Days get a 30 min set too.. Next weekend is Andrew Akinson, and many other big names..

yep a winch set up. It's at the Ricoh Center, a hockey arena. The rink is lined and flooded with water pumped from Lake Ontario. Water temp. was a balmy 42. We were there Sun. and had the chance to catch Watson, Webb, Santori, and the local guys from The Basecamp put on a great sport progressive show. We missed Rusty on Sat. but more big names this coming weekend. What a great setup for spectators. Funny thing though...more oohs and aws for tricks off the kicker than the tech. stuff off the rails.

Greg: I always buy from the US, but the only thing I hate is shipping fee even with USPS sometimes it can offset the savings. Id figure there would be some decent clearouts at the boatshow but I guess not.

Greg: I agree, but it is also about supporting the sport in your area. If there were no shops we would not have events. Plus, I get good deals at my shop...so its pretty close.

...........jeeez Greg ...do you think you can get anywhere close to u.s.a. pricing? I guess you have to get from buckeye because of their service and your situation etc?! I could soften them up on Friday with a low ball....so when you come in....they wont feel so bad !

I will get USA pricing... Buckeye is selling all their Chapperal, Regal and Mastercraft's for USA dealer pricing. All models are adjusted 15% or so.. Example on a X-2 you are saving $10k I was working with them (for me) in getting quotes from serveral US Mastercraft dealers for comparision to where they stand. With the pricing I want to get for a 40th Anniversary X-star.. it would be difficult for any dealer to beat it. Remember that Buckeye is top notch in service and they do good volume too. Last year they did 75+ Mastercrafts... not bad outta one location. I wish buying a car was easy as dealing with Buckeye.. Wish me luck... I make a post on sunday or so.. Sat is a big day.. It's my bday and I want to buy a boat... Then drink my face off at night in celebration!

......just got back my thoughts (they dont mean much but just first impressions ) 1. that is the worlds largest indoor set up apparently with the slider and kicker. In my opinion the best thing to happen to the boat show ever. Yes inverts off the kicker def. felt mor impressive. Forget who it was but one guy jumped the whole slider from top to bottom ( bomb drop or such).....just cleared it! (I didn't think he colud get the speed....but I was wrong) 2. for the price Moomba lsv and centurion falcon are extremely impressive! (falcon was 7000 dollars cheaper...so most impressive) 3. malibu very nice but the vinyl and cushions are really soft you could push them right down....felt cheap 4. mastercraft x-1 very tiny compared to everything else these days and costs too much with no wakeplate no wrap seating no depth no width no playpen etc....well...er......enough said. 5. no deals at show....ebay still wins! 6. some dealers bent out of shape for u.s pricing and people buying there. Apperently want to not honour warrenty for new moomba boats from there (to do something to stop buying from there) 7. people must have a sh... load of cash!!!!! 8. Mike Maynard wakeboard school on Rice Lake is now using the supra 24 (nice move!)....good bunch of guys.....gonna get some more lessons this year.....plus now I can get my boat serviced there. 9. no supra 21v at show.........moomba dealer said the boat isn't so popular ......and they are redoing it for next year.........ok,right!!?? 10. if your looking for a boat you are royalty....when not....ho hum your a bum!!!!!! ....although the centurion guy was more than happy to just talk boats regardless (impressive) 11. 2 hot dogs 8.07 12. pizza slice.....no better! 13. if your going to the wakeboard show.......on the weekend, be there early as it will be packed.....trevor and reed hanson will be there...we just missed them today as the were stuck in traffic with mike maynard coming from the airport. that was Chris Guard, Gator Board Canada rep, that did the bomb drop. Weekend should be an impressive show. Lidberg nursing a sore shoulder, hopefully he's ok for the weekend. Hats off to the boys!

Should be a great weekend for the sport with the show and the Push Process event on Saturday night at the Sound Academy (formerly the Docks). I wish I could make it down. Hope to catch the best trick contest on Sunday though.

...........right on Mike.......great kid he was rippin!but they all did a great job as it must be hard to get in any kind of rythem as you gotta perform as soon as you hit the water.......like I said above that show is the best thing thats happened to the boat show in my mind.....it is worth the price of admission alone......then seeing all the boats was a bonus!!

Greg, I hope you picked up that 40th anniversary x-star. I was drooling over the decked out one they had on display all day. It was definitely the sickest looking boat there. Also on the topic of Andrew Akinson, aside from being a sick rider, I talked to him at a couple different points today and he seemed like one of the nicest guys ever.

haha nice... I am sure Buckeye would take it on trade...or even consignment.. You would still have to anti up a bit to get the "upgraded dice" Anyone have pics or video from the rail jam this saturday or today? Love to see action from the best trick competition today..

Just got back, show was the same as every year and prices were normal. I guess I was expecting a little much to get a good deal The Pool slider was amazing though. Watched that from 3-4 and had a blast. Everyone was great. Couldn't believe the prices on some of the boats though...crazyyy. When I looked up it seemed like every boat had some sort of tower config on it..guess its the new fad every manufacturer is doing now. With the prices on some of these boats today I wonder how some of you can plunk down $$ on them.

All of the rail jam sessions were free with admission to the boat show. Boat show tickets were like 10 or 15 bucks (I got mine free from my Centurion rep so I'm not totally sure)
