...are you as crazy as we are? Once we are done riding we come home and analyze our riding - which in itself is not that weird. What I want to know is if anyone else out there watches their air time frame by frame and counts the number of frames??! We all sit together and count and keep track of our record air. Our buddies who are just starting are getting 12 frames and my biggest air was filmed yesterday - W2W in 26 frames baby!! Anyone else ever done this? What's your record?

actually, we use a ruler.

we pause the rider at it's highest peak, and measure on the tv the height. on a 17" widescreen, i get about 2" of air. but on a 42" widescreen, it's like 20"!!! that's the record!

I analyze my footy like crazy too.....just this past weekend I analyzed myself crash on a crow mobe and dislocate my shoulder. As far as counting frames, never thought of it. Once I start riding again I will go for the record, and most likely get hurt in the process....what is a respectable number of frames for a wake jump??

I just edit the video so that my move is in slow motion. That make it last a lot longer.

I try not to watch my riding too much. It never looks as good as it feels on the water. But it has helped me eliminate a couple of ugly habits that I didn't realize I was doing.

I was counting frames just yesterday actually :-)

I got 24 frames on that video but I know I have done 30 frames easily. Now we will have to start a competition to see who can get the most frames.

Maybe they should rate wakeboards in how many frames of airtime you can get from them.

i never count frames...but i do pause at the peak of my jumps and try to measure how many feet i go. my cousin easily doubles his board length in height, so around 8 or 9 ft. I can get consistent 7ft of air. other kids on the boat get around 5 and 6 which is good for only a year of riding with a ski boat wake.

I guess we are not quite as weird as I thought! Now, we haven't ever counted frames for inverts or spins - I wonder how they stack up compared to W2W?
