I went riding behind my buddy Tom's Supra 21V yesterday for the maiden voyage, and I have to say that wake is totally legit. It has a great shape with just enough ramp and the steepness you want. I was surprised how nice the wake was with just the stock 1100 pound ballast system and the wake plate at about 2/3 up. This wake is definitely up there with all the best boats like the VLX, Super Air, 22V (biased), etc. Great purchase Tom!

Thanks Mike. Glad we could get someone who could really test the dynamics of the wake with some killer moves. I was surprised at how good the wake really is. Nothing like doing a face plant on my first jump behind my new boat...but it was all good after that. I will attribute it to being overly stoked about the first run...It's gonna be fun summer.

Reading this post and thinking about my new 21v sitting on the trailer, yet to make its maiden voyage, and then looking out my window at the horrible spring weather in Seattle makes me sad.

yes it is nice huh... wait until you add some more weight.... I was awefully intimidated the first time I loaded the long large bags in the back (650lbs each) and the GG bag (1000+lbs) up front. Very impressive... Now I just have to get good.......
Did you find yourself shortening the rope some? We have been riding at about 70'. I got booted the most at 65' but gets a little rough landing in the flats

I rode at 65' and I thought it was good. The wake looked great at 70 feet+ as well. I'll try it next time.

I couldn't disagree more, now is the best time to be out there, sure it was a little overcast yesterday, but I got out there after work and didn't have to deal with any other boats in the corner we were riding...nothing but glass!

Get out there. The sun might not be out but as long as it isn't raining or windy it doesn't really matter. We have been out 4 times in the last two weeks and have had great water each time. This time of year the air temp doesn't change much if the sun is out or not. Plus the weather forecasts are totally worthless right now so you have to be ready to take advantage of their regularly inaccurate predictions.

Here are a few pics of our 21V from this weekend. Sorry for lack of wake pics. This is our 7th day in the water in CHILLY Minnesota. Get out there and ride...
