Now that we all seem to be getting our surf wakes all dialed in, does anyone have any thoughts of what that weight transfer does, or how it affects the fluids in the motor / trany?
I'm by no means a mechanic, but doesn't it seem that if we have our boats half way submerged on one side, the trany fluid, and motor oil will not be exactly where its designed to be. Will this have any bad effects down the road?
Maybe I'm way off base and I'm asking a stupid question, but what do you guys think?

knowing nothing about machines AT ALL, i would still say it has no effect. your oil pressure is up there, gravity will not affect it. same with tranny fluid, its hot and pressured tight.

I run my boat at a hard 20 degree list. Twenty degrees may not sound like much, but I've had people slip and fall off my swim platform because of the angle.

I have to keep my transmission fluids a little higher than the full line. If the fluids aren't up to the top the tranny make noises.

I don't think that a boat like an Enzo have to list as hard as my boat. So some boats may have less of an fluids issue than others.
