It doesn't have one if you have a fuel injected model, which I think they all are. Throw some Heat into the tank if it's really bad. A little water in the system doesn't hurt the fuel injected models. They can handle the same amount of water that a fuel/water filter can remove. It sounds like you may have gotten more water in than even a filter could handle.

I would venture to say that you have a problem that might require a dealer intervention.

I have surfed Bu's for 3 years now and we run typically 2800 pounds plus the wedge in one corner.....Yeah its slammed and water pours over...Never have we had a problem with water in the tank. I would take it to the dealer....have a once over. Don't prediagnose and let them do their job.

heres the problem. boat is 05 vlx all blalast full 2500 sacs all on port side same side as fuel vent. I just had its annual service 2 weekends prior. Ran fine first weekend till end of the day then started spuddering and crapping out. So took it home and added sta-bil to fuel tank then filled it up. 2nd weekend boat started fine but ran like crap. We checked for fuel/water seperator could'nt find one. Check distribtor cap / no moisture. Checked in line fuel filter little bit of water but not much. Still ran like crap so unplugged ecu plugged back in ran fine to wakeboard and ran fine to surf, but when we drained the sacs and try to head back to the dock it ran like crap again. So should i move the vent to the other? And where's my fuel/water sep? Should I have dealer put one in? Do I need one?
