Someone opened the back door of the car and one of our wakeboards fell out and hit the trailer. There is a small one inch chip or scuff on the edge, in the middle of the board. Is it still rideable? Can it be fixed?

Thanks

It is definitely rideable. It's up to you if you want to fix it. I've ridden boards with chipped molded fins, rails and good chunks missing. If you want to fix it a surfboard repair kit works very well, as does super glue and I've seen people to major repairs with bondo. Happy experimenting.

My watson has been assaulted by things in the water and my dad bumbling around in the boathouse, resulting in a pretty damn bad gouge out of the rail/bottom of the board, and a chip out of the side, and it rides just fine.

Oh, and I fixed it with epoxy...

Or,if it's a Hyperlite board, pay shipping there and back and they'll fix it for free.

File it. Feather it past the chip on each end. That's what you do to an airplane prop. You'll never know. Did it to my son's Transcend just yesterday.
