Alright so Im going out tommorrow behind a new X Star and have no clue what to expect from it. I ride at 24-25 on a 75-80ft line behind our centurion, and dont have a lot of experience behind any boat as large as this. Ive heard the wake is really wide compared to most boats... just wondering if anyone has any recommendations as to what line length vs speed etc... thanks for the input

on our 04 x-star we had i rode at 75 feet and about 24 mph. the tower's towpoint is slightly farther back than most other boats because of the tower design so a 75 foot rope might feel a little longer but not much. the wake is on the wider side so if you ride at 80 on your boat go to 75.

But if you are going to be riding with just the stock weight you should ride at 70 because you will get a lot more pop being the wake will be bigger at a slightly slower speed.
You will need around 750-1000 extra pounds of weight to ride at 75 or longer.
