Lead weights for ballast. I think they are coated with rubber. It looks like they may have gone out of business. Bummer

Not sure if they are still around, but the cost of the freight is what was killing them. Sometimes the freight would cost more than the bars themselves and not too many people are OK with that...

This guy had a couple tons of 25lb plastic coated lead plates for $10 each (Ross1@charter.net). He is in LA again shipping is the killer. I am currently collecting lead weights from my neighbor that owns a tire store but I only have about 100#s so far.

yea they are still for sale at larsons marine in rancho cordova but they aint cheap they were like almost 55 buks per 60lb bar last time i checked, most people were telling me that they were not a good idea because theres so much weight all in one small area, and i think websites quit selling them because of shipping costs..
