Hit large rock formation at Union Valley after 3 killer days of riding and took out the prop and rudder, after replacing the prop there is no vibration but the top plate of the rudder is cracked and taken on some water (bilge pump seems to be keeping up). I'm concerned about shaft unbalance, etc and want to have it checked out for further probs. Still throws a nice wake while ridin, Centurion Avalanche. Any shop recommendations?

Thanks. Appreciate the referral. Very Busy. Ever hear of anything good or bad about Sterling Marine in Rancho?

I've heard positive but not a ton about Sterling.

Sorry to hear about your boat. Union Valley does have some rocks sticking out of the water on the north side of the lake (between Yellow Jacket and Wolf Creek Campsite). Was that the formation you hit?

Try Fiberglass Fixation in Modesto. Does some of the best work in the central valley. (209)569-0763. Talk to Jason, he is the owner.

I went to Classic Craft in Rancho Cordova. He had me in and out in 10 days. Ask for Gary. He did a great job on my boat and he does work for Larson and West Coast Correct Craft.
