i know there's a trick...is it taking a blow dryer to it for a bit and then peeling it off?

Heat gun/hair dryer makes it real easy. 3M Adhesive remover will remove the leftover gum.

A heat gun (NOT TOO HOT) and a Plastic scraper worked great on my boat.

I just peeled mine off on a hot day, and used GooGone to remove what little residue was left over.

Hair dryer, not as hot as a heat gun.

Hot day, heat gun and patience. Followed up by isopropyl alcohol.

Don't forget to have plenty of the beer on hand.

I just pealed mine straight of using a plastic scraper and patience then I followed it up with goo gone. Maybe took an hour tops.

also be prepared to hit it with a buffer and in extreme cases, wet sanding... it may a little newer/shinier underneath those decals. It's the only thing holding me back from doing mine right now.

Scott,

Shadows under the decals was a concern of mine, too. Fortunately, my boat had no shadows where the stickers came off. The boat is stored outdoors each summer and it's a '99. I took off the decals last summer.
