An all encompassing rider is what I'm talking about : boat, cable, winch etc.. just everything. For me here is my list: 1) Nick Davies 2) Keith Lidberg 3) Tom Fooshee (wish he rode the tour this year because his bag of boat tricks are top notch, and unlike everyone else, he does a regular heel 9 off the d-up) I love watching Lidberg ride cable because he looks like he is doing boat tricks on the flats. It is awesome to see. Putting Tom on the top of the list might be the correct choice but right now as Nick is doing really well on the tour, he has to be on top. If Anyone hasn't seen this video, check it. http://www.thewakeplace.com/?p=566

If you notice in this video, Nick's hair is not wet until the very end of his section. He simply doesn't fall.

I am also putting Mitch Langfield on the list. I don't know if any of you have seen him ride cable, but he has EVERY trick in the book, but he isn't as consistent as nick (but no one is). He is doing really well on the Jr. Pro men tour,

Nick Davies, he kills it. If Mark Kenny was still with us, I think he would have a great chance at being the best all around rider. RIP

Kieth Lidberg is really well balanced between cable and wake. Obviously Mark Kenny was, too. I'm sure guys like Parks, Murray, Harf and Soven ride cables, but I've never seen them do it, so if we are talking about wake AND cables, I can't comment.

I'd say parks, Nick davies, and mitch langfield. Just so much natural talent, Parks and mitch seem to be able to land even when tricks go horribly wrong, and for nick, well, tricks just don't go wrong.

By Luke Johnson (luke_j) on Monday, July 06, 2009 - 7:04 am: I have seen parks pull out of some amazingly horrible looking situations. You guys remember that PWT stop where he hookep up on the transfer box, drifted over it head first, hand planted on it, and some how landed on his feel and rode away....

Andy- I remember that! Blew my mind when I saw it. Parks is probably the most technically skilled rider the sport has ever seen. The guy can do anything on a wakeboard.

Not to bust on anyone, but I guess I don't understand why it matters. There are so many good riders now and so many different styles and influences. I enjoy them all. I was even thinking the other day, that there is probably one thing from each person I ride with that I would like to have. Either a specific trick or particular style of a trick that makes me go, "cool man". It is so subjective, I don't know how you can say anyone is the best.
