I took all the cup holders and the garbage bin(The tray thats under the seat by the v-drive)out of my Mob V last fall. They sat in my garage all winter and got pretty dirty. I cleaned them all up in the sink, but was wondering if they are dishwasher safe?

Just to let you know, It's ok to put them in the dishwasher. I did it today and everything turned out pretty good. I was afraid I would open the door and see a big pile of melted goo.

Joe,

I was just thinking of the same thing yesterday while I was cleaning out my boat. I didn't have the guts to try it. I'm glad you took the chance for me thanks.

Why not hand wash them if you're worried?
I hear thats what people used to do
before the dishwasher was invented

Actually I do have a dishwasher, but only for the
last two years. I went about 15 years without.

Sandy, I did hand wash them first. They were really nasty, so I put them in the dishwasher after just to be sure to kill whatever was growing on them.

The only precaution I took was to let them air dry, instead of steam dry.

I have washed mine in the dishwasher, but I set it to air dry.

another cleaning tip fellows, i posted a thread about it today, but it hasn't shown up. i used oxy-clean on my vinyl seats and they look better than they ever have. i'm expecting a hundred posts telling me how awful it is to use it. the vinyl even dried shinier looking.

What is the old joke..."what does a man do when the dishwasher stops working? Kick her in the ass"
