Hi WW Friends,
Push starting a boat sucks, so I was thinking about picking up a portable Jump start battery. Can anyone make a recommendation based on what they have used, and worked well? I'm running 3 batteries and a power hungry system and want to have a backup in case I forget to change the perko switch. thanks all.

Wally World has 2 models 1 big 1 smaller that has done the trick everytime I needed it whether it was the boat or a car that had sat for a year and really has not failed yet.

Just keep it fully charged.

The best jump packs on the market IMO ( I sell tools for a living) are the Solar ES-2500 & ES-5000, they are available at your local NAPA store. I have used them for years in every dealership I ever worked at & now that I sell a few different brands I still go back to the Solar every time.

I have a yellow one(forgot the name) from Walmart as well. I didn't notice when I purchased it, but it was for cars and small trucks. It still worked fine, and has saved my butt numerous times sitting on the water listening to the stereo for too long. I would almost say they are a must.
