I have to remove my tower speakers and fold my tower every week to fit it into the garage. After repeated plugging in and unplugging my speaker connects the wires eventually break. I currently use eight banana style plugs. Is a Skylon type wiring harness and plug better? What is everyone using?

I don't have to take my speakers off to fold my tower down so I don't have that problem. I do use a plug between the tower. I used Tyco Amp connectors and they work well, but get pricey when you add up all the components. You might look at powerpole connectors. They can be configured and they give good current capacity.

They are not the only place to buy them, but that is what I am talking about.

Are the guys using the Skylon or Dbot harness happy with them? Are the connectors holding up? What connectors are others using? I would like to find an eight pin water proof connector, does anyone know of any really good ones?

Here's what I use. It is a 9 pole, but it is nice and compact, waterproof and has the rating to support the speakers. Lots of acessories to go with them.
