This hull is a straight ripoff of an Epic S22 or SX v-drive built for/by Toyota Marine until they destroyed the tooling and exited the business. We Epic owners have a special interest in this POS because it's a stolen, hack copy of a really well-built, well-engienered hull.

It's one thing to alledgedly steal molds out of a dumpster, but to buildt molds from even a good part is a total recipe for garbage-in-garbage-out.

But you asked about riding: I'll make a few educated guesses. It's way tail-heavy (porpoising and bad bow rise result in poor speed control) due to the fact that the all-aluminum 4.0L has been replaced with a cast-iron 5.7L. That's an easy 300 punds more (Lexus w/tranny is 600 pounds). Wake is really clean and hard with ballast, but not as big as a BU or steep as a SAN. A pure wakehound would choose a different boat. Takes a lot of weight to sink. Did I mention most of that weight's gonna need to be in the bow?

Like I said, we Toyota owners get a little uptight at this topic - please don't take it personal.
