If you live in Colorado, or maybe just here for a visit, I encourage you to contact Squids Wake and demo some of the boards he has while you take in a session from his dialed in Tige R20. I had the opportunity to go out with Allan Kendall (owner of Squids Wake) last night on his Tige R20 and try out a few boards.
I tried out:
- Inland Surfer Flyboy
- Triple XXX Slayer Pro X
- Soulcraft Jetty 5.0 I think
I also brought my Walker Project Bomb Pop 4'9" as well. I am not sure what all boards he has but these are the ones that I was most interested in. I was VERY impressed with the surf wave that the 20' Tige is putting out. It has a decent pocket and lots of push. I will try and find some pictures/video to post later on.
Check him out if you haven't already:

I hope we get some more people doing what Squids is in other locations, it was awesome to just go out and give a board a few try's and then decide if it meets your fancy or not. He is working on building the quiver and I wakemitch called him while I was there and I think I heard him say that he will be getting a Victoria skimboard to add to it shortly.

Squids will have a Lakewakes 44" Grom board by this Friday. IN Atlanta Georgia area look up Allatoona Adventures for a demo surf ride.

I liked my TWP Bomb Pop the best but I would rate the Soulcraft Jetty #2. The Flyboy is awesome, I just need to lose a few pounds to have more fun on it.

No, he has some extra sacs in the boat and a "surf flap" attached to the platform underneath.

I'm on! It's the little things...
Thanks goes out to Timmy for My first review and the directions given buy Mitch.

The idea behind the SquidsWake it to provide a stress free environment to alow you fare assessment of a board before purchasing one.
You may think you know what you want and that is a great start, but after riding you don't pick a board, the board picks you!

Ok enough of that, my R20 setup.

Simple... I have the upgraded surf package adding 700lbs to the hole system.

Break down..

Surf side - 250 hard tank filled, then the 350 surf system bag, then a 270 bag butted up against the surf sack and under the seat.
Fill the 400lbs horse shoe bag in the bow ( the hole thing). Run at 10.4 a 10.8 mph taps at 2.
Turn the GoPro on and the tunes up

My surf flap is a brain storm project handed down that's been real fun to play with. Along with my Z3 swim deck the pare insure the fine details on prop / taps plat wash and keeps the wake in tip top form as one would expect from a wakesurf board demo boat. Yes, both sides are crazy nice and of equal quality!

I will have some new video of this weeks three demos out soon.

I kinda got lucky....let just go with that, and I think its heavier and does not dig into the wake...not sure if the stock one does..

wave looks nice and clean. It looks long, but looks like its not very tall.

It's plenty tall, I can vouch for it for sure. Has really good push too. Is it a pro level wave? No, but it's good enough to get you to the pro level. I think a lot of people would be ecstatic with it and/or have spent a lot of time getting to the wave that he has.

Squid, you do that boat proud, that is the best RZR/R20 surf wake that I have seen, and maybe the best of any 20 foot boat there, I can't remember another, that looks fantastic. We are going to have to meet up in the middle some day and have some fun.

65k must be for a RZR not R20... when I was looking at them I was quoted in the low 50's

50K! even better!
Our demo boat was pimped out buy WWS for the Denver boat show, lots of extras...power coated towner, custom system with 2 12in woofers (I am from the Bay area) bow cooler, PCM343, custom bimini, and the surf package (worth it)..some more stuff but it has nothing to do with how the R20 pumps out the wake...
Thats all Tiges convects V and taps2 system...

Ragboy,

Thanks boss! come up, we need RJ boosting off the 20 footer...If not I'll see you at worlds.

you get the same performance between the 2 boats. RZR has the alfa Z tower and more details but they share the same hull and engine options....
