Picked up my new whip last weekend - had a fun time driving it through 3 different states to get it home but glad it is in our garage now. Can't wait for the weather up here to improve so that we can get it out on the water. Here are a few pics that the previous owner sent me and one of us with it hooked up to the truck.

It is a 2003 Malibu Wakesetter VLX - super clean - I swear that there is barely a ding in the boat all around. Has about 765 hours on it.

Good call on the profile - I have it updated now.

Upgrades? Probably upgrade the ballast pumps at some point - put in some LED Lighting, upgrade some speakers. That is about it for now though.

I think the only upgrade it needs is some women in bikinis. Maybe some Rev 10s if the budget allows. Welcome to the biggest headache/time consumer of your life. It is a blast and don't regret it one bit. You get to choose when you want to go to the lake. It is nice.

Awesome. Those boats are rock solid. Still a great wake even by today's standards.

Great Looking VLX.. I've had a couple of them... About the only upgrades I can see is the Stargazer upgrade for the PP and ditch the ski pole.. It looks weird and gets in the way.. I took mine out and cleaned up the look.. If your a skier or a tuber (ugh.. did I say that) you can use the transom pull point.... Good Luck with her..

Hey Garvey- How'd the Jeep pull the setter home? Does look really sweet. you redo your garage too or was that indorr picture from where you picked it up?

Jeep pulled it well, just the gale force head winds that we were going into weren't so much fun. Didn't redo the garage - that is from where we picked it up at.
