Everything is going well up until the final 90 degrees and handle pass. My hand hits the rope, but there is so much tension that it is really hard to grab. I know my hand is in the vicinity so I need that one tip to finish off the trick. My initial thought is to ease up on the cut. Any other suggestions?

I don't do the trick, so I don't know. But something that might help is doing, super huge way out into the flats 360's, just to get used to the line tension handle pass.

My buddy does them and he says it's like doing a hoochie glide 360, so it's more of an up pop than a true raley. That's what he says I can't even come close to that.
