Battery drain...

So I hooked up a second battery to my primary battery and twice now the battery has been dead when I go to start it. I hooked it up just straight + to + and - to -. Did I "F" something up or what? I talked to a couple people and the said that was fine but it seems like that must not be ok. Help!

Sounds like one battery is bad or you have something still drawing current/turned on. Yes they are wired correctly.

I was thinking one may be bad but it's a blue top that is less than a year old. I'll have it checked today. Thanks Bob.

The battery was bad which surprised me because it was less than a year old but the good news is I got a free replacement.

Glad you found the fix, and it was a warranty item.
