after seeing the epic boat i think it wins in my book. i havent seen the wake in person yet but from pictures it looks huge! a hull that opens up 4,000 lbs. of ballast....sounds bueno.

Nothing personal to anyone, but forget about the boat, shut up and ride! You'll have fun regardless...

Seems to be that the top three are Malibu, Mastercraft and Correct Craft(nautique), but they are also the most expensive. The Epic looks nice but its a new boat, so I would wait to see if the Epic has all the bugs worked out before I would buy. For the money its hard to beat the Skier's Choice (Supra/Moomba) great wake boats for the money. Jared, What dealers do you have in your town, the most important part of buying a boat is that you have a good dealer to buy from that will take care of any problems you might have with any boat, so I would say the best boat for you is the one that has the best dealership.

The best boat is the boat that you don't have to pay the gas bills for. B.T.W I don't understand the "can of worms" expression. Can someone enlighten me. (Message edited by Chqwakeboarder on February 24, 2007)

had to chime in on this one... the best boat, without a doubt, 100% for sure, i'd bet the farm on it, is the one filled with the most women. The Tsunami looks like it could hold 40 or so! 20 if they're fat!

On this site Malibu, Mastercraft, and Supra I'd say rule the roost, but they're all nice boats these days...just which suits you best is best.

I disagree with Joe. Don't let your dad buy a boat with a crappy wake. Tell him boats with shatty wakes have poor resale value. What? It's true...kinda
