I'm trying to find a pair of womens boots that are very easy to get on and off for my wife. Another concern for her is that she has big calves and boots that she has tried on before pinch or hurt her calves. Any recommendations?

check out the 2 (zone) Boa system (Rome, DC, etc.. have Boa lacing systems). That way she can tighten around her foot & snug it around her calves.

Also Nitro has a zone type quick lacing system (TLS) that puts all others to shame.
