Zane has been riding like a champ the last few months. Maybe hes got one more win in him. I pulled him a couple of weeks ago and he rode sick!! Good luck

The X-Star design has FINALLY grown on me...but the grafitti graphics still don't do it for me. I dig the sparkle, but can't get into the grafitti.

I'm sure Zane's killing it behind that thing though. Met him once at a boat show, and he spent 20 minutes talking to my wife and me. Great guy.

I like the metal flake . . . kind of old school. I'm still waiting to see one of the pros break out a new X-Star with the old Mastercraft Stars and Stripes graphics.

Nice boat, not a huge fan of the the flake paint. Kinda reminds me of a bass fishing boat .

I absolutely love that boat. Definitely the nicest X-Star I have seen. And, yes Zane is a legend.

SICK.....

and yes... Zane is a pimp. I remember walking into the CWB booth at the Reno stop a few years back. Zane was like "hey I'm Zane Schwenk". I looked at him like, "no $hi#". "Of course you are". Like I didn't know who he was. The guys a legend. LOL!!!

When I first met Zane at a party 15 years ago, I wanted to kick his a$$ cuz he was the new spikey headed hotshot skier at the Gardens and I was the old plumping up, on the way out skier. My little brother talked me out of it, saying dont start anything Zane is really a good guy. I'm glad my brother stopped me cuz now Zane and I are great friends. I do like slugging him every now and then to keep him honest.
He does pee at the drop of a hat anywhere anytime. (just thought I'd share that)

Parks used to have one of his old MCs in maroon metal flake. It was way before the pickle-fork bow and it had the REALLY old tower on it. Now that thing looked like a bass boat!

I actually like the metal flake, looks good. Billy how are you getting through the canals? I had to walk mine through from Summit to Eloise 2 weeks ago. It has to be even worse now. Anyway Zane's new boat is tight. Give me a call this week.

It would be funny to bring back the thread with the first new x star with the metal flake paint job. Pepole were hatin on the flake when they first brought it out now that zane has one everyone loves it???
Old     (woreout)      Join Date: Aug 2006       05-29-2007, 12:33 PM Reply
The metal flake doesnt have huge flakes like bass boats do. Its a smaller flake that gives the gel a lot of depth when looking at it. It looks even better on the water.
Duffy the canals SUCK!!!!
I hit 3 times in the Winterset canal in my Jon Boat!!

Can you get custom gelcoat(s) and paint jobs on wakeboard boats?

I saw one with a 25G paint job on it for sale down at the LA boat show a few years back (point in fact a guy I know bought it for his kid), but I figured the dealer did that, not the mfg?

That pic really really really doesn't do that boat justice!!!!!
I saw it on the water at the acworth tour stop it looks awesome!
Congrats on the new boat Zane ( really good guy)

Hey duffy and Billy come on up to ATL. No canals and I'm usually the only one riding in the morning except for an xstar with a couple of teenagers who pack it in after one or two sets. i could use a little coaching.

What the hell, I'm not invited Vince? lol...

Nice boat. Zane had one like that a few years ago with the silver metal flake. It looks PIMP on the trailer and 100x better on the water, IMO.
