Is everyone using the SanDisk Ultras or are other brands acceptable? Looking to buy a DSLR for the ability to shoot 2.5 shots/second and would really hate to drop all that money if a cheaper memory card will hold me back. But there is a substantial price difference between a Ultra card and a PNY.

Costco has 1GB cards for like $30? I looked on their website and it says like $52....but I swear that they had them for like $30 last time I was there.

I am going to pick up some coffee creamer for the workplace and will look.

I don't know what I had been looking at, but just back from Costco and they have one CF card and it is 2GB for $85....

Maybe I was on the crackpipe last visit........

Oh yea.... I just use a 2GB Kingston CF card that Pictureline threw in with the camera. It works fine for me. Then again, I have yet to shoot 5FPS or the like......

I use a Transcent 150x 4GB SD card, I think it came from Costco online.

I've had good luck with Sandisk Ultra II and III's. Even if your current body doesn't need memory that fast you never know what the next model will need so it's worth the small extra cost to get fast cards.

I figure I might as well buy the SanDisk since that seems to be the recommendation. Amazon is actually selling them relatively cheap

Extreme III are very nice. I actually have an Extreme IV CF that I have yet to break out, haven;t been around any action opportunities since I got it.

This is the one I recommend. Works for me on my Canon 20D. 2GB for $62, and free 2 day shipping.

I've bought from them several times, good site.
