My parents wont let me weight down the boat or anything because they want a nice ski wake, the next thing I want is a pylon, but the boat needs to fit into out shore station. can a pylon be taken off in a matter of minutes? by one person? please let me know because the place where I put my rope is about 4-5 inches from the water and it pulls me down instead of up. these message boards helped me get into the wakeboard camp, now i need you guys to help me get my pylon thanks a bunch

Most pylons come with a tow ring at the regular height for waterskiers. Chances are your parents will like the ski tow eye being at this height more because 4-5 inches off the water is too low for waterskiing anyways.

thanks :-) that will help :-) but we have a shore station (like the one in the picture) and either it has to be short enough to fit into this or be incredibly easy to take off, my dad says that if it just goes like 1 or two feet above the boat then it'll be fine, so I need to know how tall it is, because I have a ski boat and the hook thing-a-ma-bob that the rope attaches to is about 4-6 inches above the water, which really, really sucks.

what kind of boat do yall have? if you have a ski boat it should have a pylon sticking a few inches up over the top of the boat...and then an extended pylon would just slip on over it...and ocme back off easy

and why wont they let you weight it down? 1,000 pounds of ballast will drain in about 5 minutes...

Check out Flitepipe. I had one on my Correct Craft. It is held on by a pin and a bow strap. There are also a pair of clamps that are installed on your existing pylon. Very easily removed.

Most pylons go up and down in a few minutes. Watch eBay for people selling them and if your Dad is handy he could make one, check out www.diyTower.com.
