Well, I'm bored. So I thought that I could gather some information on hot water showers. I was thinking of doing this-

I got the idea from this post. What do you think? would it work? I think I would use a water puppy pump or something along those lines (maybe something cheaper?) The only thing I'm wondering is would the pump be able to prime from the raw water intake. I'm trying to design something that does not require the engine to be running.

That is a great post. I will be doing that with a jabsco pump I was planning on selling.

I do have a question for who ever can answer it. If you turn the pump on and don't spray the hose what are the chances of burning up the impeller or pump?

I just fitted a hot shower on my old MC so as to warm us up throug the winter. I found on my PCM 351w i don't even need a pump. Water flow is great if the engine is above 1500rpm. Cost me about $10 in parts and is awesome.

I'd try the set up without a pump first and see how it goes.

great idea for those winter rides.

Jay, did you have to tap the 351W block yourself, or is there a plug somewhere like in the thread linked above?
