Boston Acoustic G5 subwoofer, a decent sub for boat application?

2 of these woofers came in a boat I purchased, and I have never heard anything about them.
I began some research and many people call these the ultimate SQ sub, and many others compare them with the W7.

I am looking for more info on these, because I have a set of DC Audio level 4 12's that I would like to replace them with. However it will be pretty difficult to do the change over.
I'm just looking for a little more insight before I kill myself swapping the subs.

They sound pretty good, but I would like a little more bass.

Popular subs. I'm running 4 12's g5's in my boat and love them. I also have two g5's in my truck. THe g5, now replaced had a radiator exchange which made it nice if you had any issues. You just swap the cone/basket out and you were ready to go.

They are running off of a Polk audio 600.1 I'm assuming at 1ohm. They sound pretty good, but I need some deeper more powerful bass.
Especially when I put the 4 rev10's on the tower.

They work perfectly.

There are a good sub - there might be a market for them since BA is no longer in the Car Audio Business.

Post em up over on some of the bigger car stereo forms...the downside is that shipping sub's these days is pretty expensive.
