Wanted to take a second and thank Tim and the folks at Pro-Flight for some great customer service. Last year at Boardstock, one of the welds on my Pro-Flight G-Force tower failed. Upload
I called them when I got back and took the boat up to see them. They actually built me a completely new tower. They even delivered the boat to my stereo shop after a mix up about pick up timing. This is cool for a couple of reasons.
1. My 1 year warranty had already expired so Pro-Flight was under no legal obligation to fix it.
2. I did not have to argue extensively with them about repairing it. They just wanted to do the right thing.

Thanks to Pro-Flight for standing behind their products.

wow. Props to Pro Flight for the great service.

That looks like a bit more than a weld problem though.

J-Rod-You are probably right. They did say the had a couple of towers come back with a similar issue (same location), so perhaps a bad batch of aluminum or whatever. Or it could have something to do with all the speakers up there and the fact that I am a fat a#$ (LOL).

BTW, I did ask about the speakers and they said that should not have been an issue.

Id have to say its speaker related. Lots of weight, espically up high = sway and stress espically in rough conditions. I know, i had a tower crack on me on my last boat and there was know doubt in my mind it was weight related (speakers, racks, bimini) cause it was basically rock solid till i added everything. I have to say my Proflight Chubby has been REALLY solid even with all the extra weight of speakers and racks.

Ben~ Are you serious? Your new tower set-up is insane! I cant imagine how that sounds lol Awesome as usual, cant wait to check it out.
