If you women riders out there feel intimidated by riding with the guys, or you just love to ride. Come out to ride with all the girls at these scheduled events:

Ride Like a Girl @ Deer Creek Island - 6/14/05
Ride Like a Girl @ Deer Creek Island - 6/28/05
Ride Like a Girl @ Deer Creek Island - 7/19/05
OP Girls Learn to Ride - 7/23/05 (fee associated, limited space available)
Ride Like a Girl @ Deer Creek Island - 8/16/05

Hope to see you there! Come say HI to me when you are there, my name is Danielle and I will be willing to help you with advancing your riding level.

A girls wakeboarding camp is in the works and will be posted for all you interested in going to an isolated river where the water is smooth, the wind doesn't blow and you can ride with all the girls. Details coming soon....

Danielle,
What's up? I was just wondering where the OP clinic on the 23rd is going to be at? Who do I contact to register and pay? I couldn't find anything posted on wakeutah about it.
By the way, I talked to Jonathan at Deer Creek and the only free clinic is the first one. Every other clinic is $40. Up $15 bucks from last year. But, they were fun last year and it's worth $40 to me, so I'll see you there. I'm signed up for all four.

HI KATE! That is awesome that you will be attending the DCIR wake clinics. Thanks for the info about the Ride Like a Girl clinics. So ladies, the first one is free and the others you pay a fee!

Kate here is the link to sign up for the OP Girls Learn to Ride Clinics. http://www.girlslearntoride.com/EventSite/View/Pages/EventDetail.aspx?EventID=100359

It is $62 for each session, I have signed up for both, the website will give you all the details. SEE YOU THERE!

Danielle,

Thanks for the information. When you said you signed up for both, you mean the afternoon and morning session right? Or is there another day as well? Have you been to the OP clinic's before?

The 40$ at Deer Creek also includes your lunch. Last year it was chips and sandwiches which was great because I was starving by lunch time!

Thanks again, looking forward to the fourteenth. I will be coming up with five other girls in a white expedition.
PRAY FOR SUNSHINE!

That is awesome that you are bringing so many girls! Thank you! I have not been to the OP clinics before, but any clinic to me is an asset to be able to ride with different women and skill levels. Yes, I signed up for both sessions, which are $62 per session for 1 day.

Sunshine will definetly be present! Forecast shows high 70 low to mid 80! Bring your sunscreen!

Danielle,
Obviously you don't know me, I am sort of addicted to tanning and sunscreen is against my religion.
But about tomorrow, change in plans. Two more girls added to the group so, I will be driving up with two in my truck. (Maroon dodge ram)
Look for me, I love to ride together. I like to ride with people more advanced so I can learn something. I saw you placed in the last contest. That's awesome. Congrats!

Okay 8 hours of work to go and then wakeboarding. This is going to be a long 8 hours!

Hey! I'm interested in the Ride Like a Girl on Aug. 16th - is there a fee associated with that? Is there a schedule of some sort? Any and all info would be great! Haven't been able to ride at all this summer - and I'm starting to get super restless. I want to get some riding in before I move out of town in Sept.
Thanks!
