I can tell you what a jetski's wake with 200 lbs of ballast looks like.

Mush, and a little bit bigger wake. I recently had 450 lbs of people on my jetski pulling me on my wakeboard, and you know what, you still can't jump the wake.

My first wakeboard ride was behind an old(really old) SeaDoo that could barely pull me out of the water. We used a utility rope and a piece of plastic pipe reinforced with a piece of broom handle. Needless to say, there was no wake.

Gangsta? No.... Ghetto? Yessir

We started with a Sea Doo Sportster boat about 6 years back. We still talk about the wake, or lack thereof.

I saw one of those badass 230's at the Toronto boat show. Comes with sick stock Infinity Tower Speakers. But I think it's designed for the hardcore wakeboarders and unfortunately most of us don't qualify. boooooooooo

Don't get a PWC to save money on gas bills. The ones at our lake use more fuel than my 2001 nautique!

The wake on that 230 looks like our 18ft I/O with no ballast and like 3 people on board... Looks like a really small beam too that chick on the sunpad in the video can't even lie down across it.

No way a PWC is going to use more money in gas, unless your going 45mph all day on them, then yes.

If you drove a PWC like a WB boat, doing 20-25mph for most of the day you would clearly outlast a WB boat, but since they are fast and fun you want to go full out all the time.
