Can you buy this board yet?

All i can say is that CWB wakeboards is awesome. There customer service is through the roof and they just made a customer for life. I had an 05 CWB Absolute Platinum and the threaded inserts ripped out about 2 weeks ago after a fall. So i call CWB explain what has happened and sent them some pics via email and that was it. I didn't have to try and talk them into replacing the board they offered before i was done speaking. Then i was expecting getting an 07 CWB Absolute Plat. but instead they send me, which i believe, is an 08 model. They could have easily sent me a left over 06 or 07 but an 08. I am just stoked and love there new design. Very simple which i like alot. Anyways just had to share my experience. Here is some pics of my new board.

I like it!!! IMO, CWB customer service is #1 in the industry. Now you need some pics of you riding it, lol...

I don't know if CWB is hurting at all over all this CRAZY good customer service, but they are making it impossible for anyone to bash them!

Is that the Plat? The 07's had the unique platinom/ graphite? material tops that I really liked. Did they stop doing that?

Kevin, I believe that is the Plati. The Graphite look in mostly gone.

The board is an Absolute Platinum. The still have that carbon fiber look. It is more noticable in the tanish silver color on the board. I think the black also has it but i got the board last night late and then i had to leave for work early so i haven't got a chance to see it in the sun. I am hoping to give it a try this weekend if i don't have to work. I will take some pics of the board in the sun. Man i can't wait to ride it!

I'm with you BG, the Answer looks pretty dope.

That board is definitely the Platinum, you can still see the carbon sheet look but its less noticeable.

It should ride pretty similar to your 05, the only difference is the top molding & if I remember that far back the rails are thinner.

that thing is sweet. I only see six inserts on each side that must be a new thing for 08. I saw that on an 08 LF witness last week.

Should be out in the next few weeks. I'd say that, aside from CWB riders, that you are one of the first to get a hold of that board. NICE!!!

The Platty's all look good. The Absolute and Transcend have most of the carbon covered up. The Marius is all carbon on top with a small graphic. They all look great.

Have fun with it. The new Zeus' or Answers would look ill on that ride.

Thats AWESOME!!!! I can't believe i got something before it is released. I am not a sponsored wakeboarder but right know i feel like one

. I would love to buy the zues bindings but i bought a set of torq bindings a few months ago. Maybe next season but i really like the torqs. I never tried on the zues because the dealer was out of all the bindings except 2 torq bindings when i bought mine and i am not one for being patient. Talk to you all later
