Just get a Slingshot setup. It feels like suspension when you land. Especially when you land a little tail heavy.

Is it 240.00 for a set up or for each foot?

does it strike anyone else that shock absorbers would actually absorb pop as well. aren't we trying to eliminate the shock absorbtion from our bodies when popping.

Bionic knees are the only answere to absorbing hard landings.

I would think that it would have the opposite effect. As you load your line and edge in you would be compressing the shocks. As you release and pop off the wake it would give you an added boost (in theory). Granted this is all theory due to the fact that noone has tried them and posted their experience.

The boost theory may work and through you off if you don't normally pop perpendicular to your board. I'm interested in others opinions on the matter.

I think most people loose a lot of their line tension right before they hit the wake, they kind of flatten out their boards. I'm not saying this is correct, its just what most people do. This would let the shocks back out. Even people that edge correctly let off their cut before they hit the wake on certain tricks, such as tantrums.

vlxray, you live in the same city as me...
but ya, $420 is a tad to steep for how much money i got...

i'll just get a slingshot for those soft landings

For $420 is gas money I bet I can dial in my wake to wake tricks and keep my knees in good shape. Great idea but I don't ride like Randall!

Raising you off of the board would definitely affect the ride. It also seems like it would mess your timing off the wake too.
