i suppose it was bound to happen i hit a nail sticking out of the boat ramp today with my boat. first nick and i was not to pleased. it put a good ding in the fiberglass is their a way to repair ding like that. it about 1/2" long not very wide and not to deep but it is a gouge. any suggestions thanks

Well.. the color is the hard part but you can either get it from sanger or they should be able to divulge their supplier and you can mix up some gel coat and hardner and fill the scratch then sand smooth ending up with 800-1000 grit wet paper then use 3m finishing compound to rub out and wax(wait a few days before the wax though). if it white you may be able to use a generic gell coat and be ok. It's not all that hard to repair a scratch with some patience.
