Thinking about getting a marius but was wondering what size to get. I am like 6 foot and weigh like 150ish. DO i need to get a size lower cause of more width like the LF boards or should i just go with a 140.
BTW the board i ride now is 141

go with the 140. check with your local shop to see if you can demo both sizes. the shop will put the money spent on demos towards the purchase of a new board. most of 'em work that way, anyway.

I would definitely get the bigger one, for the wider stance. I'm 5'9" 155 or so, and I ride the 140.

I am 180lbs but ride the 140. It is a sweet board, all of my friends think it is awesome too.

I've been considering the Marius 134 as well. I am 5'7" 155 lbs. The board brain on the CWB website recommends the 134 for my stats. The board has more surface area, so you might be fine with the 134. Then again, because of your height, you might just go for the 140

Cosmo, I'm 5'8" 150lbs and I have a 140 that is too large for me. I like the 134 more but I bought the board for my friends and I just like to mix it up every now and again.

Tyler, the 134 will float you but like Thane said the 140 will give you a better stance and will not be unnerving looking down on a little tiny board.

If you have the chance try to demo the new marius platinum. Ive ridden LF for as long as i can remember and couldnt ride the same on anything else until this summer. I broke my shane so i took a marius for sh##ts and giggles and wow i was suprised. PROS: tons of pop, can ride it finless, and the landings suprised me the most(very soft). CONS: Board felt a bit heavy and didnt get the spin i would of liked it to. It just felt i had to use more effort to put a spin on tricks and inverts. Thats why the platinum marius being lighter and stronger with more snap may be very beneficial

i think the marius is built so that you can still ride the same length but you also get the width which is the extra benefit. v-core or something like that.
