Has anyone ever had their tower speakers vibrate loose and the tower mount screws rip through your cans?

I heard of that happening, not sure what ones you have, but I have heard that from people that bought those homemade PVC aluminum wrap type of cans off eBay, thinking that they where a factory made tower speakers and paying 400.00 plus for them, from some guy in his garage laughing all the way to the bank...

I have had my tower speakers vibrate loose and fall off going down the road. Thank God nobody was behind me!! When i get new speakers I will be checking them every once in a while to be sure it doesn't happen again. Everyone be sure to check yours just to be sure. My speakers were 8" dbot 5.
